We had a mixed experience at Huayu Resort. While the gardens were stunning, and we eventually found a nice upgraded room, the initial service and the room cleanliness left much to be desired. The beach nearby was beautiful, but the hotel pool was not appealing at all. If you're planning to stay, be sure to bring your own snacks and ask for specific rooms closer to the beach for a better experience.

I recently visited the Crowne Plaza Sanya and overall had a great experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I loved the beautiful surroundings. However, there were times when the service felt a bit lacking in warmth, especially from the golf cart drivers. The beach access was convenient, but securing a beach chair can be a challenge. The dining options on-site were plentiful and enjoyable, adding great value to my stay.
